Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) received a request to amend Streambed Alteration Agreement SAC-39648-R2 (Agreement) and the required fee for a major amendment. The request to amend the Agreement includes a revised project design to avoid a 0.06-acre seasonal wetland on the eastern edge of the property to reduce the overall seasonal wetland impact for the project to 0.21 acre instead of 0.27 acre. Additionally, the project will use 2.0 acres of onsite seasonal wetland to compensate for its permanent impacts, rather than purchasing 0.27 acre of seasonal wetland from a CDFW approved mitigation bank. As a component of this seasonal wetland creation and consistent with other agency permits, the Permittee shall be responsible for the wetland mitigation area in perpetuity, will monitor the site monthly and annually, and provide reports until performance standards have been met.
