Document Description
Approval of Permit No. 19914 under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To construct approximately 1.65-miles (8,800 linear feet) of soil-bentonite cutoff wall between the Sutter Butte East Levee and State Route 99 along the Feather River West Levee. The work includes degrading the existing levee and excavating a 38- to 64-foot-deep trench down the center of the levee to install a cutoff wall with a 6- to 8-foot-wide clay core. At approximately midway along the Project, a 20-inch pressurized pipe (CVFPB permit No. 13624) will be removed and replaced with a new 20-inch pressurized pipe (CVFPB Permit No. 13624-1) along with a new 4.5x4.5-foot valve utility vault. Also, two existing 18-inch gravity drainpipe system features will be removed and replaced with one new 36-inch gravity drainpipe system feature along with a new 6.5x5.0-foot valve utility vault with ladder assembly and sluice gate.
