Document Description
The proposed project is for the construction of an 8-story, 89-feet 6-inch-tall apartment building with 54 Low-Income Supportive Housing units, 53 Low-Income units, and 1 market rate manager’s unit for a total of 108 units. The project will have a total floor area of 84,900 square feet and a Floor Area Ratio of 3.45:1. The project proposes 16 automobile parking spaces, 79 long-term bicycle parking spaces, and 8 short-term bicycle parking spaces. The project will provide a total of 10,797 square feet of open space of which 4,000 square feet will be for Interior Open Space, and 6,787 square feet will be Exterior Common Open Space. The project proposes to plant 33 trees on-site and to maintain 5 existing Street Trees.

The project is a qualified Streamlined Infill Project and satisfies all of the objective planning standards and is therefore subject to the streamlined ministerial approval process provided under Government Code Section 65651(a) and (b). As a supportive housing project that satisfies all the objective planning standards of Government Code Section 65651, approval of the project is ministerial and therefore statutorily exempt from CEQA and Public Resources Code Section 21080(b)(1). As such, the project is exempt from additional environmental review.
