The Green Zones District Interim Ordinance (Ordinance) is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines 15061(b)(3), 15183 and 15308. The Ordinance is covered by the common sense exemption that CEQA applies only to projects, which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment; is consistent with a community plan, general plan, or zoning; and consists of actions taken by a regulatory agency for protection of the environment.
