Document Description
The project is limited to the reinforcement of an approximately 410-foot-long sheet pile seawall. The seawall reinforcement will be constructed from engineered stacking concrete blocks reinforced with fiberglass rebar and concrete, placed on a foundation comprised of a beam, set on top of concrete footings. Approximately 55, 8-inch by 24-inch footings will be placed along the 410 feet of lakeshore. An approximate 12-inch by 12-inch reinforced concrete beam will be poured on top of the footings. The area around the beam may, in some cases, be excavated so that top of beam is at ground level. The height of the seawall reinforcement will be a minimum of 11.5 ft Rumsey. Wall heights will vary from approximately 4 to 11.5 feet following existing topography.
