The project includes the routine maintenance work performed regularly on bridges and culverts within steam zones on Nevada County roadways. Routine maintenance work includes removing debris, sediment, vegetation, rubbish, downed trees and other material that could obstruct the natural flow, vegetation control in channels or banks, repair of previous erosion control, minor erosion control, minor bridge repair, bridge washing and painting, culvert repair, graffiti removal, and geotechnical sampling.
