Document Description
The project is limited to the installation of 2-inch conduit using horizontal direction drilling (HDD). The cable will be installed underground under a watercourse crossing. The cable installation will occur at a depth of approximately 10 feet below the surface level elevation the crossing. The entry and receiving pits for the boring operations, as well as all equipment and staging areas, will be located outside of watercourse in
upland areas. No equipment or materials will need to enter any watercourse channels and the project will not result in any ground disturbance within any stream/drainage channels. Project equipment generally includes standard HDD equipment, such as a mini excavator to dig the bore pits and a ditch witch vac truck JT-25 to conduct boring as well as hand crews.
