Document Description
The purpose of the proposed project is for the Hometown Water Association ("HWA") to consolidate with the Indian Wells Valley Water District ("District"). The District was contacted by the State Water Resources Control Board regarding a potential consolidation with HWA which is comprised of 12 connections. HWA's existing system is aging and they cannot keep up with regulatory requirements. Once grants funds are obtained, HWA will be connected to the District's facilities. HWA will be connected to existing District's facilities situated within Graaf Ave. An additional 650 feet of new pipeline will be installed within Allene A venue and connected to District facilities within Pinto Street. HWA' s existing system will be abandoned and their well destroyed.
