Document Description
The project consists of the construction of 12 curb extensions, 26 crosswalks, 30 Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramps improvements, one hardened median, one expanded transit stop, 255 linear feet of widened sidewalk, two speed humps, and to provide bike/pedestrian education program. The project will require right-of-way acquisition in two locations where existing utility poles will need to be moved to accommodate the proposed improvements (APNs 037-0181-018 and 037-0173-018) and along one property to widen the sidewalk (APN 026- 0151-001).

The project is not listed on any list of hazardous waste sites compiled pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code, is not located within the vicinity or viewshed of a scenic resource, and would not result in an impact to a biological resource, cultural resource, or another environmental resource. The project consists of the continued operation of an existing facilities resulting in negligible or no expansion of use beyond that previously existing and is therefore exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
