The 28-acre Project will re-grade and rehabilitate a perched floodplain and emergent wetland within the Stanley Wakefield Wilderness area to create a variety of terrestrial and aquatic habitats, including oak grassland, floodplain, and side channels that will function under a variety of flow conditions and improve rearing habitat for steelhead and provide ancillary benefits to Chinook salmon and other native fish.
