The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Tico Mutual Water Company Consolidation. The Project includes the consolidation of Tico Mutual Water Company into Ventura River Water District for domestic water service and improvements to address existing deficiencies within the Tico water distribution system. Three new water main pipeline sections totaling approximately 825 linear feet will be installed along established roads to connect the two existing water systems. Approximately 200 linear feet of the new water main will be installed by jack and bore. The improvements also include the installation of approximately 40 water meters and five fire hydrants. The Project is one of several Ventura River Water District projects evaluated in the same Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) titled 2023 Water Projects.
