Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project to replace a damaged submersible storm drain pump, including its electrical panel retrofit. The scope of work would be to remove existing pump, purchase and install new pump, and replace electrical facilities that would be serving the new pump. All construction will be completed in the Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of the project is to replace the storm drain pump as it cannot be repaired due to it being severely damaged. The project need is to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, health, property, or essential public service.
