Document Description
Through this grant, the Washoe tribe will be able to increase its participation in projects throughout the Basin currently being planned and implemented, such as the Basin Community Wildfire and Protection Plan (CWPP) update, Caldor Fire post-fire recovery, and prescribed fire project planning and implementation by state and federal agencies. The purpose of this grant is to support planning, participation, education, outreach, and implementation of projects related to restoring cultural resources of the Washoe Tribe, promoting culturally guided prescribed fire, and propagating and maintaining culturally significant plants.
