Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project to repair a sound wall. The project will consist of removing the remainder of the damaged sound wall, repair the foundation, place new rebar, place new concrete blocks, regrade the area, and place erosion control. All construction work will take place within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to prevent further loss of the existing concrete block wall. The need of this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
