Document Description
CAL FIRE would provide funding to the National Forest Foundation to treat infestations and conduct removal of diseased/infested trees to reduce tree mortality of high-value oaks from the invasive goldspotted oak borer (Agrilus auroguttatus) (GSOB) and suppress infestation from further spread to adjacent oak woodlands on National Forest lands. These treatments will reduce wildfire risks to local resources and community members, promote native plant and wildlife species, and improve forest resiliency.
