Document Description
The objective of the reorganization is to place the entirety of the Mountain View Avenue Bridge and the adjacent riverbed area within the City of San Bernardino. Locating the bridge wholly within one jurisdiction will provide greater clarity on the responsible agencies and allow the Inland Valley Development Agency-who retains ownership, maintenance, and inspection responsibilities for the bridge structure itself-to coordinate with one agency rather than two when bridge maintenance is required.
