Document Description
Warren E&P, Inc. (Warren) is submitting updated Underground Injection Control (UIC) data for the North Wilmington Unit waterflood project (Fault Block II UIC #84906012) in the Wilmington Oil Field in Los Angeles County per CalGEM’s request. CalGEM initiated project-by-project reviews to bring existing Project Approval Letters (PALs) into compliance with updated UIC regulations that took effect in April 2019. The most recent PAL is dated February 7, 2018. No new wells, well modifications, or surface disturbances are associated with the project. The volumes of fluids extracted and injected in connection with the project will not change from previous operations. The project consists of three active production wells and two active waterflood injection wells. Details on Underground Injection Control can be found on CalGEM’s website at: http://www.conservation.ca.gov/calgem/Pages/Undergroundinjectioncontrol.aspx
