Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SIS-31446-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to R Ranch Property Owners Association, represented by Heath Kauffman. The project is limited to activities associated with on-going maintenance and operation of five points of diversion of existing water rights, maintenance of existing boat ramp and continuing waterway vegetation removal along Klamath River and Cottonwood Creek at their campground sites.

The Project is limited to the (1) operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features with negligible or no expansion; and (2) minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water and/or vegetation. The diversion facilities are currently in good working order. Therefore, the continued use of these facilities is consistent with a Class 1 exemption, and no unusual circumstances exist with regard to this facility at this time. In addition, alterations will be minor and will not impact healthy mature trees.
