Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-VEN-33109-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison. The project is limited to the trimming of vegetation and the removal of one dilapidated wood power pole and the installation of a new wood pole. Two coast live oaks will be trimmed to access the pole. The new pole will be set within 5 feet of the existing pole. The new pole will be placed within a pilot hole with the depth of six to ten feet and a diameter of three feet using a helicopter. Native dirt and pea gravel will be used to backfill the pilot hole. The wires will be transferred from the old pole to the new pole and the dilapidated pole will be removed. The project will temporarily impact 0.01 acres (23 linear feet) of streambed from the installation of the pole and trimming of vegetation.

The replacement of the dilapidated pole will not expand use of the existing power delivery system in the immediate area and consists of minor alteration to topographical features.
