Document Description
The project project consists of replacing Dixieland Substation XFMR 1 92kV/34kV and XFMR 2 33kV/12.5kV transformers with a single 92kV/13.2kV transformer and removal of the 34.5kV system. The installation of the 92kV system will include; 12.5MVA, 92kV/13.2kV transformer, 92kV bus modifications as required and the removal and installation of foundations. The installation of the 15kV system will include; voltage regulators, 15kV breaker, bus modifications as required and the removal and installation of foundations; all within the existing substation footprint.

The project is exempt under Section 15302 (Class 2 exemption) for the reason that they entail the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced, this exemption includes but is not limited to the replacement or reconstruction of existing utility systems and/or facilities involving negligible or no expansion of capacity.
