The proposed project is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines review pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines, which exempts licensing of existing uses with negligible expansion of the use. The proposed project will allow for a request to modify an existing Type 41 ABC license to a Type 47 ABC license for beer, wine and distilled spirits sales for on-site consumption within a bona fide restaurant with occasional live entertainment, which is expected to be a negligible expansion of the existing restaurant use.
