Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), District 3, is proposing to improve pedestrian safety along State Route 32 in the City of Chico. Pedestrian safety will be improved by upgrading streetlights, traffic signal, installing pedestrian push buttons and count down signals, and restriping crosswalks. The purpose of the project is to reduce the number and severity of collisions involving pedestrian and vehicles.
