The Friant Water Authority has been working with Friant Division long-term contractors to develop the proposed Guidelines for Accepting Water into the Friant-Kern Canal (Guidelines) to ensure that the quality of water conveyed through the Friant-Kern Canal is protected for sustained domestic and agricultural use. The Board of Directors of the Friant Water Authority certified The EIR Guidelines and approved the implementation of the Guidelines on July 27, 2023.
