The District proposes to demolish about 3,600 square feet of an existing lunch shelter and construct a new 6,160-square-foot multipurpose room building along with 3,500 square feet of music and flex lab rooms and new lunch shelter. New fencing is proposed along W. Midway and new entrance/lobby. No change to the existing parent drop-off/pick up zone is proposed. A small parking lot is proposed on a portion of the grass play area at the southwest corner of the campus. The project will enhance educational opportunities at the school and will not change student capacity. The proposed project will benefit the district, students, and staff by improving the educational environment.
