The Lower Bear Creek Habitat Enhancement Project will realign approximately 2,000 feet of Lower Bear Creek from its present alignment to improve fish passage. The downstream section of this reach will be within residual backwater of the Mattole Slough and provide low velocity slough habitat for listed salmonids.
