Phase one projects would be essential to fulfilling Cal Maritime's readiness for NSMV and include expansion of the main pier, dredging new floating and training docks, expansion and upgrades to the marine yard, and utilities relocation and upgrade. Phase two project would focus on expansion of cadet instruction and marine programs including new breakwater, new boat basin with additional slips, renovation of the boathouse, and shoreline enhancements.
