Document Description
Pacific Power is proposing to perform maintenance activities along an existing 12 kilovolt distribution line in the State Route (SR) 96 right-of-way in Siskiyou County: post mile 40.5 to 41.0. Maintenance activities include: conductor replacement, replacement of five poles, and new supporting guy wires/anchors. Once the new line is energized, the old line would be deenergized and the old conductors/wires removed. The purpose of the project is to maintain public safety and provide reliable electric services to area customers. To facilitate maintenance activities, traffic control would be performed during the proposed work. Caltrans would issue an encroachment permit to allow for the proposed work to occur within State right-of-way.
