Document Description
The Project is located along the De La Vina Street Vision Zero Priority Corridor and includes improvements to provide pedestrians with a safer crossing at the intersection of De La Vina Street and West Los Olivos. City standard Americans with Disabilities Act access ramps will be included at standard curb extensions to reduce pedestrian crossing distances and improve visibility between pedestrians and approaching drivers. The Project also includes the installation of two City standard street lights to increase nighttime visibility as well as high visibility crosswalk markings and signs to alert drivers of the presence of the crossing. The Project is located entirely within the public ROW where ground disturbance has already occurred.

Minor alteration of existing public facilities involving negligible or no expansion of existing use, including existing streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle lanes, and similar facilities (this includes road grading for the purpose of public safety) for the minor extension of curb lines and lighting, for safety enhancements for pedestrians. CEQA Guidelines Section 15304 Minor Alterations to Land (a) and (f), Minor Alterations to Land. Minor public alterations of grading on land with a slope of less than 10 percent and minor trenching and backfilling where the surface is restored, alterations are located entirely within the public right-of-way where ground disturbance has already occurred.
