Document Description
This project aims to restore depressions around vegetation in the southwestern part of the park caused by OHV vehicles circling plants at fast speeds, which create depressions and berms that are commonly referred to as “donuts.” The depth of the donuts can vary from approximately six inches to over two feet deep. To avoid future damage to vegetation and prevent injuries to visitors, this project aims to fill in the donuts with the surrounding material. A mix of hand tools and heavy equipment will be used to complete this work. Measures to be implemented to avoid impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the Environmental Coordinator listed below.
