Document Description
The project is limited to the trimming of vegetation and the removal of one dilapidated wood power pole and the installation of a new wood pole. The vegetation will be cleared from a 3-foot-wide path to access the dilapidated pole. The new pole will be set within 3 feet of the existing pole. The new pole will be placed within a pilot hole with the depth of 15 to 20 feet and a diameter of 3 feet. The new pole will be installed, and the dilapidated pole will be removed via helicopter. The project will temporarily impact 0.02 acres (163 linear feet) of vegetation from vegetation trimming to access the pole. All areas impacted from ground disturbing activities, including access routes, will be returned to pre-construction conditions.
