Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Old Mill Ranch Water Supply Project. The Project includes improving the Old Mill Ranch Water System to address several system deficiencies, including the system’s regular exceedance of the maximum contaminant level (MCL) for arsenic, iron, and manganese. The proposed system improvements consist of equipping test well TH-B2 that produces approximately 19 gallons per minute (gpm) to serve as the primary water source, and installing an arsenic, iron, and manganese treatment facility that will include a treatment building, treatment units, backwash tank, and system piping. The Project includes the construction of 100 linear feet of transmission pipeline from the existing water system to the new treatment facility.
