Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has amended Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SBR-21610-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison. The amended project involves installing 12 concrete and/or rip-rap aprons along Flowline No.1. Concrete (mixed off-site) and rip-rap will be flown to each location by helicopter. Each of the 12 concrete aprons will be approximately 10 feet by 18 feet in length total, approximately 180 square feet. The uphill portion of the apron will be a 10 ft by 5 ft layer of grouted rip-rap one foot thick. The downhill portion of the apron will be a similar sized layer of grouted rip-rap. The mid portion of the apron would be an eight-inch layer of concrete 8 ft by 10 ft - this portion would be directly over the buried HDPE pipes. In addition to the original 0.086 acres of permanent impacts to the San Gorgonio Flowline, updated project activities will create 0.054 acres of permanent impact bringing the total amount of permanent impacts to 0.14 acres
