Document Description
On August 14, 2024, The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) issued this Restoration Management Permit (RMP) pursuant to section 2081(a) of the Fish and Game Code to the Tuolumne River Trust. The Project is designed to restore the structural and functional integrity of aquatic, riparian, and upland habitat within the 202-acre Project Area. The Project is expected to benefit Crotch’s bumble bee (Bombus crotchii), referred to as the Covered Species, by producing suitable foraging, nesting, and overwintering habitat for the Covered Species. No more than 10 individuals will be captured and released for identification purposes. Crotch’s bumble bee individuals and a nest (no more than 400 individuals) may be inadvertently killed as a result of Covered Activities. CDFW has determined and expects the Project will benefit, aid in the conservation of, and assist in the recovery of the Covered Species. This notice is to advise that CDFW issued the above-described RMP on the date signed below.
