Document Description
The Project would restore river function and sediment supply under contemporary flow and sediment regimes to benefit fall-run Chinook Salmon (Oncorynchus tshawytscha) and Steelhead Trout (O. mykiss) on the Tuolumne River. The project would create in-channel, riparian, and floodplain habitat, reduce non-native predatory habitat, restore geomorphic function and sediment transport, increase aquatic microhabitats and food sources, and design and plan for future habitat improvements, primarily for salmonid spawning and rearing.
