Document Description
Caltrans proposes a state and federally funded Capital Preventative Maintenance (CAPM) project in Plumas County on state route 70 between postmiles 78.3and 90.3. The project will overlay from edge of pavement to edge of pavement with a 0.20 ft of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) for an expected 10-year design life. Throughout the project limits, the pavement is exhibiting different forms distress that include cracking, rutting, and poor ride quality. It will improve ride quality, extend pavement life, improve safety and reliability for all modes for traffic and goods movement.
