Installation and maintenance of best management practices (BMP) components and habitat restoration in the Malakoff Diggins Basin former hydraulic mine pit to control the release of sediment to downstream receiving waters in compliance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board Orders R5-2017-0086 and -0087, as amended, and to improve special-status species habitat. The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board is issuing a Clean Water Act 401 Water Quality Certification for the project impacts to waters of the state.
