Document Description
The Project consists of replacing the existing UPRR bridge over the Mokelumne River with a 14-span, 436-foot long bridge with Prestressed Concrete Box (PCB) Girders that will be installed on existing steel H-pile pier bents. Four existing H-pile bents in the low-water channel near the north end of the bridge will be encased in concrete, and 3 abandoned concrete pier bents will be removed, including two abandoned bents that are below the ordinary high water mark (OHWM) of the Mokelumne River. The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board issued a Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the project impacts to waters of the state.
