Document Description
This project consists of the removal and replacement of existing guardrails and their end treatments (components include: end anchorage system, barrier, and post) at 15 locations in Sacramento County. All guardrails are located within the public right-of-way; however, if existing utility poles are too close to the existing guardrail, the utility poles may need to be relocated within the public right-of-way.

The project consists of the replacement of an existing facility where the new facility will be in the same location and have the same function as the existing facility. The project is not listed on any list of hazardous waste sites compiled pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code, is not located within the vicinity or viewshed of a scenic resource, and would not result in an impact to a biological resource, cultural resource, or another environmental resource. The project consists of the continued operation of an existing facilities resulting in no expansion of use beyond that previously existing and is therefore exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
