Document Description

Reasons for Exemption
The project would involve minor alterations to the project site. Minor grading would occur throughout the project perimeter. Drip irrigation would be installed by connecting to an existing 2-inch water line that services the school baseball fields. Shovels and augers would be used to dig holes and plant crops. Project construction would not include tree removal activities. Site maintenance and harvesting would be conducted using hand tools on a daily and weekly basis. CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 identifies exceptions to the use of a categorical exemption; none of the exceptions apply to the proposed project.
