Document Description
The project is limited to removing the existing revetment and replace it in kind. The following activities are part of this project: 1) All activities will be carried out from the water side of the property by means of an amphibious vehicle or barge mounted long reach excavator. All stone and erosion control materials will be transported to the site, and staged, from the lake side of the property via the barge or amphibious vehicle. 2) The current, failed, rock revetment (Approximately fifty-five (55) feet in length) on the bank and shoreline of the property, extending across the property to the existing Public Utility District pumping station, will be removed. 3) The slope will be smoothed, and the site lined with appropriate geotextile fabric to minimize ongoing erosion due to wave action from the lake. 4) Clean native stone will be into place on the bank, including keying in of large stones at the toe of the revetment to provide greater stability in resisting recurring erosive forces, by means of the excavator
