Document Description
The Easley Project is located in Riverside County, north of I-10 and ~2 miles north of the town of Desert Center, California. The Project consists of construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of an up to 400 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic electricity generating station, up to 650 MW battery energy storage facility, electrical substation, gen-tie lines and associated access roads on 990 acres of private land and 2,745 acres of BLM-administered land. A 6.7-mile 500 kilovolt gen-tie line (an additional 139 acres of BLM land) would connect into an existing switchyard on the adjacent Oberon solar project site.
