Mixed Use 3 / Whittwood Town Center Specific Plan, Existing Shopping Center
The Specific Plan Amendment proposes the reduction of commercial square footage from 900,000 SF to 600,000 SF, the addition of 1,200 dwelling units and the redevelopment of parts of an existing shopping center of 743,293 SF. The existing 114 dwelling units will remain. Land uses will generally remain similar to existing uses, with the addition of up to 300 hotel rooms, which could occur in one building or multiple buildings.
