To repair the erosions, utility craft workers will first remove old drains that are underneath the bridge. Removal will be completed by hand. Next, they will fill the voids with either a concrete slurry or road base. All vehicles and equipment will remain on the road or bridge. Staging will take place on graveled or paved areas adjacent to the project site. All work and staging will take place within DWR’s right of way. After the voids are filled, new drains will be installed by hand. This work will take at least 2 weeks to finish. This work is necessary to prevent future erosion.
