Document Description
The County intends to adopt and implement the San Mateo County Quarry Park Wildfire Fuel Reduction and Visitor Services Project which would implement vegetation removal to reduce risk of wildfire on 269 acres in Quarry Park located near the unincorporated community of El Granada. The project includes developing a new fire access road connecting Coronado Road at the southeast corner of the park to the existing South Ridge Trail to complete a loop through Quarry County Park to provide first responders with park access in case of a wildfire. The project also includes the installation of a new vault toilet to serve existing recreational use near the bicycle pump track.
