Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a Clean California Safety Enhancement Project along the
following routes: 5, 5S, 118, and 210 at various locations in Los Angeles County. The
proposed project will address repeated community concerns of broken fences, litter,
debris, and unsafe access at various locations on Interstate 5/5S, State Route 118 and Interstate 210. The project will replace 12,241 feet of existing fence and a total of 8 gates to provide safer access along the above-mentioned routes. Excavation will have a maximum depth of three (3) feet for the installation of the fence poles. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
