Document Description
The project is limited to the implementation of a permanent repair through restoration to the bank of Browns Valley Creek downstream of Buhman Park. The project area includes a 30-foot length of bank and will stabilize the slope at a 0.5:1 slope with armoring using wire netting and vegetation. Specifically, the project will install wire netting, erosion control fabric, and native plant plugs No trees will be removed, native naturally recruited vegetation will be protected and maintained, and more native plants will be installed and irrigated to improve bank stability. The project will have an area of impact of 417 square feet and 30 linear feet of streambank. All work will be completed by hand. No work will occur in the wetted channel.
