Under Agreement SWPAO #22001, DWR approved the transfer and delivery of 235 acre-feet of Mojave Water Agency’s (MWA) Article 56 Carryover Water, stored in the San Luis Reservoir, to County of Kings by December 31, 2022. However, County of Kings cannot take delivery of the full amount of this water by the end of 2022. County of Kings has requested, and DWR has approved, a delivery extension to December 31, 2023 for the amount undelivered in 2022.

The facilities are existing facilities that have not been expanded or modified to implement the proposed change in points of delivery. d. The proposed project is intended to meet the existing uses of water and will not result in a change in land use.
