Document Description
A total of 19 bridges at various locations along State Route15 from PM 72.13 to PM
168.58, State Route 40 from PM R20.27 to PM R107.17, and State Route 58 at PM
R33.4 have been identified for bridge maintenance to replace joint seals, replace
approach slabs, epoxy seal cracks, revise bridge signs, patch deck spalls, methacrylate seal, resurface or overlay bridge decks and approach slabs, and replace bridge rails at locations receiving a thick overlay. There will not be any equipment in the washes. All work can be done from the bridge decks. All work will be in State ROW. There is a railroad (Burlington Northern Santa Fe) beneath Lenwood OH Bridge 54-1112R. Railroad involvement is having the Contractor ensure that no objects or debris fall onto the railroad's tracks or right of way by installing a protective barrier where necessary. A protective barrier is typically placed underneath a bridge. Ramp closure and detours for bridges (54-0710 and 54-1112R) along local road and Connector may be required if full closure on the bridges is needed to do the construction. Any closure and detour will be determined by the Traffic Engineer.
