Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of an existing twenty-four (24) inch culvert and the associated bulkhead under an existing roadway between two small lakes. The replacement bulkhead will require temporary installation of concrete forms and pouring of concrete followed by installation of a new thirty-six (36) diameter self-cleaning culvert, replacement, and compaction of the road base over the culvert and
repaving of the repaired section of roadway. During the course of the project, a turbidity/debris barrier will be installed to prevent construction materials and debris from entering either lake. The lake water level will be artificially lowered as well to ensure the project area is dry during, and immediately following completion
of the project. All necessary erosion control Best Management Practices will be employed to minimize the risk of debris entering either lake during the rainy season following the initiation and completion of the project.
