Document Description
The project is limited to installation of a temporary outfall pipeline for the Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) to stay in compliance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. The project will consist of approximately 307 linear feet of 24-inch diameter High Density Polyethylene pipe that will be installed on the ground surface from the existing 24-inch flanged riser to the discharge point in the Feather River. The pipe will be anchored to the ground by stakes and no trenching or other ground disturbance will be required. This project is one component of the WWTF Outfall and Diffuser Project which will permanently reroute the outfall pipeline and relocate the diffuser at a more stable location downstream. The temporary outfall pipeline would remain in place until the permanent diffuser is operational which is
anticipated to be in 2025. Once the permanent outfall pipeline and diffuser is operational, this temporary outfall pipeline would be removed from the site.
